Cashon joins Ceres Terminals as sales and marketing VP
Ceres Terminals Inc., the Weehawken, N.J.-based stevedore and terminal operator, has named Bruce E. Cashon as vice president of sales, marketing and business development, effective Dec. 15.
Cashon, a 30-year veteran of the maritime and cargo handling industries, is vice president of marketing for North America for P&O Ports. He joined International Terminal Operating Co. Inc. in 1993 as vice president of marketing and remained with the company during its acquisition by P&O Ports in 1999. He previously held senior management positions with the Port of Miami, International Maritime Agency, the Jacksonville Port Authority and the Maryland Port Administration.
Ceres Terminals, which was acquired by Nippon Yusen Kaisha in October, has operations in major ports in the United States, Canada and Europe.
