ITC to continue its investigation of hand trucks from China
The U.S. International Trade Commission said it will continue its antidumping investigation of hand truck imports from China.
The agency said it has determined there’s a “reasonable indication” that imports of Chinese-made hand trucks are sold in the United States at less than fair value, hurting domestic manufacturers.
U.S. petitioners for the ITC’s Chinese hand truck investigation are Gleason Industrial Products of Los Angeles and Precision Products in Lincoln, Ill. The agency said there are 13 U.S. manufacturers of hand trucks.
The ITC plans to issue its preliminary determination from the investigation by April 21.
