FMC reviews applications for OTI licenses

   The Federal Maritime Commission is reviewing applications for licenses as a non-vessel-operating common carrier (NVOCC) and ocean freight forwarder from several companies.

   The NVOCC applicants are: Independent Transport Line LLC, Houston (Tina Marie Modica, president); Internet Shipping Lines Inc., Jamaica, N.Y. (Metin Nerkis, chief executive officer); You First Express Inc., Gardena, Calif. (Kyu Weon Choi, CEO); LOF Express Inc., Suwanee, Ga. (Jennifer Lee, president); Bridge International Logistics Ltd., Troy, Ohio (William R. Netzley, CEO);

   Applicants for licenses as both an NVOCC and an ocean freight forwarder are; Karibbean America Logistics Inc., Miami (Jorge M. Palacios, president); ABAD Air Inc., Miami, (Wladimir Abad, president); YJC Global Inc., Cipreacutes, Calif. (Byung Keun Han,

president); 3 Plus Logistics Co., Rancho Dominguez, Calif. (Peter Young Suk Kim, president).

   The ocean freight forwarder (ocean transportation intermediary) applicant is A.W.L.I. Group Inc., Jamaica, N.Y. and Miami (Elaine Rosendorf, president).

   Persons knowing of any reason why these applicants should not receive a license are requested to contact the office of transportation intermediaries of the FMC in Washington.
