Trailer Bridge delays publication of results
Trailer Bridge, the U.S. mainland/Puerto Rico carrier, has notified the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that it will file its 2003 annual financial results late.
Trailer Bridge said the filing of its results was deferred “pending the completion of the audited financial statements by the company’s new independent public accounting firm and obtaining information related to certain contingencies, including the refinancing of the company’s revolving credit facility.”
The company issued a notification of late filing for its annual report.
“This filing provides for a 15-calendar day extension of the company’s filing date for its form 10-K,” Trailer Bridge said. The company expects to file its annual report April 14.
Trailer Bridge noted that a refinancing proposal it received on Dec. 9 was approved on March 4, and the parties are now in documentation with a plan to close by mid-April.
