APL LOGISTICS APPOINTED TO CHINAÆS SETC BOARD
APL Logistics has been appointed to the Modern Logistics Advisory Board of the State Economic & Trade Commission of China.
The SETC is designed to strengthen communication among government authorities and businesses, and to support the development of the logistics industry in China.
At the SETC meeting, APL Logistics announced agreements with two of China’s leading road and rail companies — the Eastern China Railway Express and the Shenyang Transportation Group — designed to extend APL Logistics’ supply-chain network in inland China.
APL Logistics is a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore-based NOL Group, which is engaged in supply-chain management and global transportation.
