Intercontainer-Interfrigo launches Antwerp/Austria shuttle train
European intermodal company Intercontainer-Interfrigo (ICF) said it has launched a new container shuttle service between the Wolfurt, Austria and the Belgian seaport of Antwerp.
The weekly Austria/Belgium container shuttle leaves Wolfurt on Monday to arrive in the Antwerp main hub on Wednesday. Southbound, trains leave Antwerp on Thursday and reach Wolfurt on Saturday.
At the Antwerp main hub, ICF's agent, Inter Ferry Boats, takes charge of feeder services.
'Logistics sector demand for through services between the Vorarlberg region and Antwerp has been high,' said Patrick Meier, business unit west director for ICF.
