SpiceJet exercises options for 10 Boeing 737s
Indian low-cost airline SpiceJet has exercised options for 10 737 aircraft from Boeing, including five 737-800s and five 737-900ERs, valued at $700 million at list prices.
Deliveries of the aircraft are scheduled to begin in late 2007.
The options exercised are part of an order the New Delhi-based carrier originally placed in February 2005 that included 10 firm orders for 737-800s.
