COVINGTON NAMED AMERICOLD CEO
Alec C. Covington has been named president and chief executive officer of AmeriCold Logistics, a provider of temperature-controlled food distribution services.
Covington, 44, was president and chief operating officer of the wholesale division of Richfood Holdings Inc. He succeeds Daniel F. McNamara, who will continue as the company’s vice chairman.
AmeriCold Logistics is co-owned by Vornado Operating Co. and Crescent Operating Inc.
