TGAX LOGISTICS OPENS FOUR U.S. OFFICES
TGAX Logistics, a Hong Kong-based air and ocean freight forwarder, has established four U.S. offices as part of its North American service network.
The offices are located in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, “the key trade gateways in the U.S.,” said Donald Woo, president and chief executive officer of TGAX.
Robert W. Mooney, president of TGAX’s U.S. business, said, “we will use our new offices to aggressively expand.”
TGAX’s operations in Asia date to 1993, when it did business under the name Trans Global Logistics. In 1998, the company became TGA, Tower Group’s exclusive Asia-Pacific air-freight agent. The forwarder changed its name to TGAX earlier this year when it ended its relationship with Tower Group, now a rebranded unit of Federal Express.
