Maersk raising rates on imports from Europe

   Maersk said it is raising rates Oct. 1 on transatlantic services from North Europe and the Mediterranean to the U.S.
   A general rate increase will be implemented on cargo from North Europe of $250 per 20-foot container and $350 per 40-foot or 45-foot container, be they dry or reefer boxes.
   From the Mediterranean, the increase will be $200 per container, dry or refrigerated.
