GEODIS SELECTS MANUGISTICS
Geodis Logistics, the logistics division of France’s Geodis Group, has chosen a supply chain management application developed by Maryland-based Manugistics to offer its clients online communications tools.
Geodis said it will use Manugistics’ NetWORKS systems to give customers access to online logistics services via EDI, the Web and wireless devices. Geodis counts IBM and Thomson Multimedia as key accounts.
Geodis Logistics has operations in most Western European countries, as well as in Argentina, Mexico, and Taiwan. The company reported 635 million euro in 1999 sales.
