AER LINGUS OUTSOURCES U.K. CARGO SALES TO ACM

   Aer Lingus Cargo has signed a contract with Airline Cargo Management Ltd. to provide all cargo sales, marketing and customer service in the United Kingdom.

   ACM will market cargo space on board the Irish airline’s 13 Airbus A321 flights daily between the United Kingdom and Dublin. Each flight provides up to three tons of cargo capacity.

   “The senior management team of ACM has strong Irish connections,” said John Mahon, commercial manager for cargo at Aer Lingus. “They understand the market, can see the potential of our system wide network and have well established customer contacts in the U.K. freight forwarder community.”
