KLM, China Southern initiate cargo code share
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and China Southern Airlines said they will share 747 freighters for new joint cargo service between Amsterdam and Shanghai. The agreement builds on the airlines' existing passenger code share between Europe and China.
KLM and China Southern Airlines, China's largest airline, will offer four weekly round-trip cargo flights beginning Oct. 15.
China Southern will launch new twice-weekly service between Pudong Airport and Schiphol Airport in the Netherlands while KLM Cargo will continue its current twice-weekly freighter service on the same route.
