The 90-ton reachstacker arrived from the Kalmar factory in Poland.
Immingham Container Terminal has received a 90-ton Kalmar Type DRG450-70S5X reachstacker with a 7 meter wheelbase from Poland, Associated British Ports (ABP) said.
The terminal currently has four reachstackers with the ability to lift 45-ton containers and stack them five high.
The reachstacker is worth over £330,000 (U.S. $368,000).
ABP plans to invest £10 million over the next two years into the terminal on new equipment, the Gate House and the terminal entrance, Steve Williams, ABP Head of Operations for Grimsby and Immingham, said in a statement.
