NYK opens Chinese liaison office
NYK Line China Co., Ltd., an affiliate of NYK Line, will open a liaison office at Chengdu, capital of Sichuan Province in China, by the end of the month.
According to NYK, Sichuan is the largest market in China’s Midwest and was responsible for 6,872 million Yuan ($830 million) of the export-import market in 2004, ranking 13th among 26 Provinces in China.
Following the establishment of the Chengdu liaison office, NYK Line China will manage 19 head, branch and liaison offices in China.
