Morris to head USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service poultry programs

   The U.S. Department of Agriculture has appointed Craig A. Morris deputy administrator of its Agricultural Marketing Service’s poultry programs.

   Morris will be responsible for facilitating the strategic marketing of products from the poultry and egg industries in domestic and international markets and through various programs and services, the USDA said. Prior to his appointment, Morris served as associate deputy administrator for the Agricultural Marketing Service’s poultry programs.

   Morris replaces Howard Magwire, who retired on July 25, 2003.
