HANJIN, COSCO AND “K” LINE REVISE U.S./ASIA/EUROPE LINK

Hanjin Shipping and its subsidiary Senator Lines, together with alliance partners COSCO Container Lines and “K” Line, have added a westbound weekly call at Xiamen, China, and ended a westbound call at Osaka, Japan, on their Pacific Southwest Pendulum Express service.

The first call at Xiamen was last Wednesday (Sept. 25).

The Xiamen call has been included westbound from the U.S. West Coast to China and from China to Europe.

“The advantage of directly calling at Xiamen translates into faster transit times as well as reduction of transshipment and feeder costs,” Hanjin said.

The revised port rotation is Long Beach, Oakland, Tokyo, Busan, Xiamen, Hong Kong, Port Klang, Colombo, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Felixstowe, Rotterdam, Le Havre, Singapore, Yantian, Hong Kong, Osaka, Tokyo and Long Beach.
