BURROWS APPOINTED CHAIRMAN OF NORTH EUROPE/CANADA CONFERENCES
Terry Burrows, a senior vice president of CP Ships, has taken on the additional responsibility of non-executive chairman of the eastbound and westbound north Europe/Canada conferences.
He succeeds former conference chairman Mike Jordan, a director of CP Ships.
However, Jordan will continue to represent the Canadian conferences and CP Ships “in consultations related to the Canadian Shipping Conferences Exemption Act,” a spokesman for the north Europe/Canada conferences said.
Peter Raimondo continues as executive chairman of the eastbound conferences (the Canada United Kingdom Freight Conference and the Canadian Continental Eastbound Freight Conference) and Nicholas Greenwood remains secretary general of the westbound conferences (the Canadian North Atlantic Westbound Freight Conference and the Continental Canadian Westbound Freight Conference).
CP Ships-owned Canada Maritime and Cast are members of the eastbound and westbound north Europe/Canada conferences.
