Port of G÷teborg orders three super post-Panamax container cranes
The Swedish port of G'teborg has placed an order with Shanghai-based Zhenhua Port Machinery Co. for three super post-Panamax ship-to-shore container cranes, at a cost of euros 27 million ($34 million).
The cranes are capable of reaching 22 container rows across a container vessel with a load under the spreader of 65 tons. They are scheduled to be delivered to G'teborg Container Terminal by Sept. 15.
