GRAND ALLIANCE RESHUFFLES WEST COAST PORTS ON AEX/PNX
Members of the Grand Alliance, Hapag-Lloyd, NYK, OOCL and P&O Nedlloyd have changed the U.S. West Coast port rotation on their weekly U.S. East Coast/Mediterranean/Asia/U.S. West Coast “AEX/PNX” pendulum service.
The service now calls at Vancouver before Seattle and the port of Oakland has been dropped from the rotation.
The first sailing with the revised rotation was made by “NYK Kai” when it departed from Vancouver on May 21.
The weekly service uses 15 ships averaging 4,000-TEUs and now calls at Savannah, Norfolk, New York, Halifax, Malta, Jeddah, Colombo, Singapore, Laem Chabang, Yantian, Hong Kong, Kaohsiung, Vancouver, Seattle, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Laem Chabang, Singapore, Colombo, Malta, Halifax, New York, Savannah, Norfolk and Halifax.
