Tibbett & Britten Americas names Jaime White Mexican unit president

   Tibbett & Britten Americas, a division of U.K.-based Tibbett & Britten Group, a logistics company now part of Exel, has appointed Jaime White president of Tibbett & Britten Mexico.

   White had been managing director of Aeromexpress S.A. and before that, managing director of Ryder de Mexico, S.A.

   Tibbett & Britten Mexico operates from distribution centers in 10 cities across Mexico and Puerto Rico, employing 2,500 people.

   In Canada, Procter & Gamble Inc. has selected Tibbett & Britten to be the third-party logistics provider for its new Canadian Distribution Center in Brantford, Ontario, a 775,000-square-foot facility scheduled to open in June 2005.
