MOL adds second Korea-Vietnam link with slots from Heung-A
Mitsui O.S.K. Lines will provide a Pusan-Haiphong service through a space charter agreement with Heung-A Shipping Co., Ltd.
The move is “in response to increasing customer demand in the Korea-Vietnam trade,” MOL said. The first vessel will be the “Mare Doricum” from Pusan on Oct. 3.
Two 1,000-TEU ships will provide the link, calling at Pusan (Friday/Friday), Hong Kong (Monday/Tuesday), and Haiphong (Wednesday/Thursday).
The service to Haiphong complements an existing MOL link between Pusan and Ho Chi Minh.
