Landstar promotes LaRose to executive VP
Landstar System Inc., a non-asset-based provider of transportation capacity, has appointed Bob LaRose executive vice president, chief financial officer and secretary.
LaRose had been the company's vice president, CFO and secretary. LaRose joined Landstar in 1989 as vice president of finance and comptroller.
Landstar, based in Jacksonville, Fla., contracts with more than 23,000 third-party capacity providers and 1,000 independent sales agents to deliver North American transportation and logistics services.
