Marseilles Fos to see boost in rail service

Rail operator Naviland Cargo will increase the frequency of its Marseilles Fos-Strasbourg service from three to five roundtrips per week by the end of the year.
The company announced its intention during a recent presentation in Strasbourg.
“With 10 trains per week serving Strasbourg, transit times via Marseilles Fos are set to become particularly competitive for Asia trades, with 28 days quoted for imports from Shanghai,” the French port said in a statement.
