New World Alliance carriers extend agreement by five years

   New World Alliance carriers APL, Hyundai Merchant Marine and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines said today they are extending their alliance agreement by five years through 2012.

   “The term of this agreement will provide a strong foundation for developing new products and service options. It will ensure that we make optimal investment decisions, effectively deploy new tonnage and make the best use of our collective terminal and landside infrastructure for our customers’ benefit,” representatives of the New World Alliance said.
