PRESIDENT OF COSCO GROUP MEETS C.H. TUNG, C.C. TUNG
Wei Jiafu, vice chairman and president of the China Ocean
Shipping Co. group, met Tung Chee Hwa, chief executive of the Hong Kong special
administrative region, and several senior Hong Kong shipping executives during a visit to
Hong Kong.
COSCO said that Wei and Dong Jiufeng, president of COSCO (Hong Kong) Group
Ltd., paid a courtesy visit to C. H Tung in the Hong Kong chief executive’s office.
During Wei’s stay in Hong Kong, he and Dong met several senior officials of
the central government departments in Hong Kong. They also met senior Hong Kong
businessmen, including C.C. Tung, chairman of OOCL.
C.H. Tung is the former chairman of OOCL and C.C. Tung’s brother.
