CONFREIGHT EXPANDS AIR FREIGHT OPERATIONS IN SOUTH AFRICA
Confreight Group has opened an office in Johannesburg airport to support its expanding air freight consolidation business in South Africa.
Michael Roll will serve as general manager of the operation, called CFR Freight South Africa (Pty) Ltd.
The Antwerp, Belgium-based non-vessel-operating common carrier also has air freight offices in Amsterdam’s Schiphol, Brussels, Roissy CDG and Lyon Satolas in France, and provides air freight consolidation services throughout Europe.
Overall, Confreight has 27 offices in Europe, five in South Africa and three in Canada. The company expects to handle more than 37,000 TEUs of consolidated cargo by the end of the year.
