U.S. CUSTOMS CERTIFIES FCSÆS EXPORT MANIFEST SOFTWARE, INTERNET SERVICE
Flagship Customs Services has received U.S. Customs’ certification of its new Internet application that allows ocean carriers and non-vessel-operating common carriers to file export manifests electronically to the agency’s Automated Export System.
Robert Foley, president of the Silver Spring, Md.-based Internet application service provider, said the new “ready-to-use” application, AES2000, offers all carriers “a stable, convenient, and cost effective way to process and manage their export operations and manifest submissions to AES.” AES2000 is available on a service center or in-house basis.
