NYK MOVES INTO CHINA’S NON-LINER BUSINESS
Nippon Yusen Kaisha has set up a subsidiary in Hong Kong to collect business information and expand sales from non-liner shipping activities in China.
NYK Bulkship (China) Ltd. started its operations on Feb. 10, with a share capital of HK$1 million. The company is headquarted in Hong Kong and has a representative office in Shanghai.
NYK said that the non-liner business in China “is one of the burgeoning markets in the world.”
