Interbake Foods and Norse Dairy Systems, a division of Interbake, have begun to utilize LeanLogistics’ LeanTMS technology. LeanLogistics is a global solutions provider of transportation management system applications and supply chain services.
The companies implemented LeanTMS Software-as-a-Service transportation technology to manage truckload, intermodal and less-than-truckload modes.
“Interbake implemented LeanLogistics’ solutions due largely to the success of our sister company, Maplehurst Bakeries, which continues to capitalize on the use of this technology,” stated Keith Gaines, vice president of supply chain management at Interbake.
Interbake Foods is a baked goods manufacturer and employs more than 850 employees in six locations. It manages eight facilities in the United States and Canada.
“LeanLogistics understands the market-specific obstacles food manufacturers face with a lack of visibility into the transportation process,” said President Dan Dershem. “With LeanLogistics, Interbake will gain complete supply chain visibility across multiple departments that touch customers enabling the company to improve overall service.”
