The Greenbrier Cos. names chief strategic officer, while Coastal Cargo Co. appoints head of Houston operation.
The Greenbrier Cos. has named Victoria McManus executive vice president and chief strategic officer. She will be responsible for diversifying and growing the company’s business. McManus was previously head of Babcock & Brown’s North American Rail Group from its founding in 1999 until mid-2008, and before that was an executive with CIT Group for 10 years. She also previously served on the Greenbrier Cos. board since 2009.
Coastal Cargo Co. has appointed Jeffrey B. Allen as its general manager in Houston. The company provides terminal and stevedoring services to shippers of metals, plywood, alloys, roll-on/roll-off, projects, bulk and break-bulk cargoes in the U.S. Gulf.
