Polar picks Menzies for Amsterdam ground support
Worldwide ground handler Menzies Aviation has created a new dedicated company to run the new Polar Air Cargo warehouse at Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport, under a two-year contract.
Purchase, N.Y.-based Polar, a subsidiary of Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, operates 14 flights per week to the United States and Asia from Schiphol.
Menzies will also handle ramp operations at Polar’s Amsterdam hub.
