Interpool re-joins NYSE
Interpool Inc., the container and chassis leasing firm that had to restate its 2003 financial results, said it has received approval from the New York Stock Exchange to rejoin the exchange, with its shares expected to trade Thursday.
Shares of Interpool’s common stock will be listed under the symbol “IPX.”
“The past year has presented a number of challenges for Interpool, and it is a testament to our employees, customers and shareholders that we were able to meet them all,” said Martin Tuchman, chairman and chief executive officer of Interpool.
Interpool has total assets of about $2.4 billion, according to the latest quarterly accounts filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
