HANJIN PHASES IN 5,750 TEU VESSEL INTO ASIA/EUROPE SERVICE
Hanjin Shipping has phased in a new 5,750-TEU vessel, the “Hanjin Lisbon,” into its “New China Europe Express” service.
The ship, on long-term charter from non-operating owner Gebab GmbH, sailed on its maiden voyage from Shanghai on Tuesday (May 6).
The “Hanjin Lisbon” is the 20th vessel of 5,000 TEUs or more operated by Hanjin.
The Korean shipping line will add another two vessels, the “Hanjin Madrid” and the “Hanjin Chicago,” to its fleet by the end of this year .
