YRC names new president for USF Bestway
YRC Regional Transportation, the subsidiary of Yellow Roadway Corp. that controls the regional trucking companies acquired from USF Corp., said Wednesday that T.J. O'Connor has been named president and chief executive officer of USF Bestway, the regional carrier for the Southwest.
O'Connor was most recently vice president of the Western Division of Roadway Express. O'Connor has served in a variety of management position with Roadway Express for the last 23 years.
YRC Regional Transportation comprises USF Holland, USF Reddaway, USF Bestway, USF Glen Moore, and New Penn Motor Express. The companies serve next-day, second-day and time-sensitive markets on a regional basis.
