LE HARVE BEGINS DIRECT RAIL SERVICE TO AND FROM LILLE
Compagnie Nouvelle des Conteneurs (CNC), the French freight railway, is offering new direct service from the Port of Le Havre to Lille.
The service provides direct shuttle service in each direction, departing Le Havre on Mondays and Lille on Thursday, with CNC handling cargoes through a hub near Paris on the other days of the week.
Lille is the capital of the Nord Pas de Calais region, a major industrial area of Europe. CNC also operates direct shuttle service to Lyons, Bordeaux and Toulouse.
