PHOENIX INTERNATIONAL, ROAD AIR TO MANAGE FOKKERÆS U.S. AIR FREIGHT
Phoenix International Freight Services and its Dutch agent Road Air have become the sole freight forwarders for Fokker Services’ airfreight from the United States to the Netherlands.
“We needed an organization whose Internet tracking capabilities could accommodate our 450 tons of airfreight per year from more than 500 vendors throughout the United States,” said Ed Bakkum of Fokker Services. “Road Air and Phoenix International have met our difficult shipping criteria.”
Fokker Services supplies maintenance and modification services to plane operators and owners. The company is part of Stork Aerospace Group.
Phoenix International, based in Wood Dale, Ill., provides shippers with international forwarding, compliance, insurance and brokerage services.
