D.F. YOUNG ADDS ONLINE DOCUMENT SYSTEM
D.F. Young, the international freight forwarder and customs broker, has introduced a web-based document imaging system that gives customers instant, global access to important documents.
The “iNavigator” system converts documents into images and makes them available to customers by fax, email (attachment or email link) or as a direct link from the company’s Internet shipment tracking system.
D.F. Young said that the system allows its partners, customers, vendors and suppliers to make receipt of documentation faster and more efficient, and eliminate the need for courier services, faxes and messengers.
“Using our iNavigator feature, you will be able to view a signed proof of delivery from Europe in your email box, without waiting for mail pouches or delivery services,” a company spokesman said.
D.F. Young said that it has also improved its “iTrack” web site feature, providing visibility of event status reporting.
