China Shipping chooses Hamburg “Hafen-City” for European head office

China Shipping chooses Hamburg “Hafen-City” for European head office

   China Shipping (Europe) Holding GmbH said it has chosen Hamburg, where it is building an eight-floor office, as the location for its European headquarters.

   Construction of the office building started in April and is expected to be completed in the summer of 2005. The total investment will be more than 15 million euros ($18 million). Some 80 employees will work in the new headquarters, based at Sandtorkai in Hamburg’s new “Hafen-City.”
