FMC reviews 4 OTI applications, revokes 13 licenses
The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received four ocean transportation intermediary license applications for review.
The agency received a non-vessel-operating common carrier license application from Apex Shipping Co., Rosedale, N.Y. (Vicky Cheung, president); and a NVO-ocean freight forwarder license application from Triumph Link (USA), Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif. (Stan Chu, president).
The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Airwaves Global Logistics, Jamaica, N.Y. (Gordon Kastin, president); and RD Shipping Multy Services, Elizabeth, N.J. (Julio C. Madrid, president).

The FMC revoked 13 OTI licenses for failure to maintain valid bonds. The firms are Air-Land & Sea Transport, Houston; All Shore Forwarders, New York; Cargo U.K., Atlanta; Constan Shipping Corp., Houston; I.M.S., Alexandria, Va.; Josephine D. Mima-Saito, Canyon Country, Calif.; Raymond Express Corp., South San Francisco, Calif.; San Pedro, Pacifico D., San Francisco; Seawinds Freight Services, South San Francisco, Calif.; Sunrise Cargo Services, Miami; Tampa International Forwarding, Tampa, Fla.; Traffic Marketing Development Services, Smithtown, N.Y.; and World Connections, Los Angeles.
