Global logistics and transportation solutions provider BDP International (BDP) has opened new offices in Nairobi and Mombasa, Kenya.
BDP said it can now cover a “more comprehensive scope of logistics services to clients in East Africa.”
Starting today, these facilities began offering various logistics services, including air and ocean freight forwarding, customs brokerage and compliance services. Additional services offered include overland transportation, multi-modal transportation, project logistics, warehousing and domestic distribution, cargo insurance, and logistics solutions for supply chain consultancy services.
Country Manager Timothy Muya will head all operations at BDP’s Nairobi head office, as well as a seaport location in Mombasa, which will serve as a gateway in East Africa for ocean cargo destined for Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo and South Sudan, said BDP.
“BDP is proud to announce the opening of our newest location in Kenya, marking not only the expansion of our presence in East Africa, but our global network of streamlined, international coverage,” said BDP Chairman and CEO Richard J.
