DB Schenker adds FTZ facility at Laredo

The German freight forwarder’s new 30,960-square-foot facility, located in Laredo’s Killiam Industrial Park near the World Trade Bridge, will become a certified foreign trade zone in October.

   German freight forwarder DB Schenker has opened a new facility at Laredo, Texas, which it said will support its customers’ expanding cross-border business between the United States and Mexico.
   The 30,960-square-foot facility, located in Killiam Industrial Park near the World Trade Bridge, will become a certified foreign trade zone in October. This will enable its customers to store bonded cargo.
