ALDONAS NOMINATED COMMERCE UNDERSECRETARY FOR INTERNATIONAL TRADE
The Bush Administration has nominated Grant D. Aldonas to the U.S. Commerce Department’s undersecretary for international trade.
He is chief international trade council for the Senate Finance Committee and was an attorney with Miller & Chavalier from 1986 to 1997.
From 1984 to 1985, Aldonas served as director of South America and Caribbean affairs at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative and as a special assistant to the undersecretary of State for economic affairs from 1983 to 1984.
