CSX INTERMODAL PROMOTES SALES, MARKETING EXECUTIVES

   CSX Intermodal, the rail and intermodal trucking unit of CSX Corp., has promoted Steven E. Rand to vice president of sales, and Peter A. Rutski to vice president, marketing and pricing.

   Rand, formerly vice president of international sales, will lead all intermodal sales efforts including international, domestic and premium sales. He joined CSXI in 1995 and has also held the positions of assistant vice president, operations services and vice president, international sales and marketing.

   Rutski, who began his career with CSX in 1985, served most recently as vice president, business planning. At CSXI, he has previously served as assistant vice president of marketing, corridor management and operations planning.

   CSXI is based in Jacksonville, Fla.
