NYK FORMS SECURITY PANEL, NAMES FERGUSON SECURITY OFFICER
NYK Line (North America) Inc. said Monday it has appointed William Ferguson as security officer.
Ferguson, formerly the ocean carrier’s director of trade administration, “will serve as NYK’s primary point of contact to ensure compliance with all current and anticipated security requirements,” a company statement said.
Kinichi 'Ken' Hirayama, chairman of NYK Line (North America), has formed an executive security committee, reporting directly to Hirayama, “to provide a more secure environment for all of our supply chain activities,” the statement said.
