SCHENKER ADDS LOGISTICS CENTER IN WARSAW

SCHENKER ADDS LOGISTICS CENTER IN WARSAW

Schenker, a Stinnes subsidiary, has begun construction of its Schenker Logistics Center at Nadarzyn, near Warsaw, Poland. Schenker expects the center to be completed in May.

The center will have 115 loading gates, with about 16,000 square meters of operating space built on a 170,0000-square-meter property. This new key point in the global Schenker network will also play a major role in shaping international supply chains, Schenker said in a statement.

The Logistics Center near Warsaw will offer cross-docking, national and European distribution, procurement and consolidated shipment services. When the center is completed, Schenker’s two Polish subsidiary companies, Schenker Sp. Z.o.o. and Spedpol Sp. z o.o. will operate under one roof.
