Global Terminal in Bayonne, N.J., is upgrading its terminal operating system (TOS) by becoming the first company in North America to upgrade to version 2.5 of Navis’s N4 TOS.
This recent version of Navis N4 supports Global’s new state-of-the-art radio frequency identification and optical character recognition gate technologies commissioned last summer, as well as enables the commissioning of the 20 semi-automated rail-mounted gantry cranes at the terminal.
