CFI appoints vice president, logistics and vice president, sales, while the Armitt Group names new finance director.
CFI, a Joplin, Mo.-based full-truckload carrier, appointed Bill Carter to the newly created position of vice president, logistics and Shepard Dunn as vice president, sales. Both will report to Tim Staroba, the president of CFI.
Carter, who was most recently the president and chief operating officer of Hill Brothers, started with CFI this month and has 30 years of transportation experience.
Dunn, former president and chief executive officer with Best Way Express, Inc., has more than 20 years of experience in the transportation industry and will join CFI in March.
The Armitt Group, a United Kingdom-based shipping agent and logistics provider, has appointed Paul Holden as its new finance director. Mr. Holden has over 20 years of experience in a series of senior financial management positions, and immediately prior to joining the Armitt Group, he was financial consultant to Inspirepac Ltd.
