DHL AIRWAYS SHAKES UP MANAGEMENT
DHL Airways, the U.S. operating arm of international express carrier DHL
Worldwide Express, has reorganized top management.
Victor Guinasso, who was appointed president and chief executive officer of
the company in August, has been named chairman of the board of directors.
William Smartt, chief financial officer and senior vice president of finance,
has been appointed executive vice president, chief financial officer and chief
administrative officer.
Lawrence Hughes, senior vice president for field and customer service, has
been appointed executive vice president and chief operating officer.
Michael Comstock, senior vice president of e-commerce and panning, was named
senior vice president of operations planning and network coordination.
Stephen Waller, senior vice president for network transportation, has been
appointed to the new position of senior vice president for strategic initiatives, charged
with process improvement and strategic alliances.
Norman Hurley has been appointed senior vice president for field and customer
service, and Steven White was named vice president for hub development and operations in
Cincinnati.
