DELTA SELLS 119 B727s
Delta Air Lines has agreed to sell 119 Boeing 727-200 passenger planes
to Pratt & Whitney, a United Technologies subsidiary that will convert the
planes to freighters.
The conversions will take place over the next six years, as the planes
are retired from Delta’s passenger fleet. Republic Financial Corp. of
Denver will market the B727 freighters.
